My friend and I have played for years and it's a constantly evolving, very fun game. The meta is constantly changing. They actively update this game and rebalance new units. SUGGESTION for how to improve the game: Let people have a more customizable experience. Imagine an "offline / with friends only" gamemode that allowed you to customize everything. For example: designing a map square by square, adding more ruins, spawning fewer villages, disabling unwanted techs. I would pay money for that!

I love this game. It's a war strategy game that's really great for passing time, and I would rate it higher if not for a couple of factors. Sometimes, the game is unfair. The person who spawns at the start of the game with the most resources is the most likely to win, and a person in a match with multiple people who starts out in the middle of the map is fighting at a disadvantage. If you're dealt a bad hand, sometimes it feels like you should just forfeit from the start.

Game is good however I'm not a fan of the "treatment" the older special classes are getting. Both the Aquarion and ∑∫ỹriȱŋ are noticeably worse than the other classes and have had some of their most notable features removed. (No more whales). Ai also seems to be noticeably worse, crazy bots are hardly a challenge in domination, and the cymanti AI is especially in need of work they struggle with moving over water, especially late game.
